Ok this is my second entry for this contest
Actually is a second version of this entry: [link] but I think this one looks so much better!
Anyway, the concept of this work is a little different from the first one, as you can see clouds have face here (I hope scary face) 'cause I wanted to represent people or situation that put themselves between you and the light (the "good").
The only thing you can do is running away from it like the horse in my picture, to preserve you own light, even if some times is difficult to recognize them...

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a visually striking piece. The decision not to use color makes a stronger impact, and conveys the darker nature and tone. I find myself impressed with the contrast and shading, along with the details. You've included so many small details that make this feel like a photograph pulled from a surreal reality instead of a drawing. The faces in the clouds, the sense of running show the fear.
What I find most amazing is the use of shadowing. The tree and the horse have shadows that pull away from them and are highly intricate.
The one thing that I could honestly criticize, which is difficult considering the skill with which you've executed this piece, is the shift in grass styles from the right bottom corner to the left bottom corner. However, it doesn't detract from the overall work of art. The bare inclusion of colors of red and green at the top seem to suggest an other-worldly presence as well.
